Peacock is an American subscription streaming media service offered directly to viewers via the Internet by NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast. Named for the logo of NBC, which resembles the colorful tail of a peacock, the service launched on July 15, 2020. Early availability for Xfinity Flex customers began on April 15, 2020, with X1 customers receiving the preview by May 1.[1]
